I think the only magnum on the market when this 44 Special was new was the 357. Now you can't count the number of "magnums" available. I've noticed most new shooters with a magnum are lucky to hit a pie plate at 25 yards.
I guess they think it's the noise that kills. Oh well, enough of that. This early S&W is chambered in what once was known as the gentleman's cartridge. Very accurate and relatively mild. It is in excellent condition and ready for a few more decades of use. $1198 plus $35 insured shipping. Lengthy Layaway available. No credit cards and no trades. C&R ok.
