For sale is a Pre-Model 24 or .44 Hand Ejector 4th Model - 1950 Target. Around 5,000 were manufactured between 1950 and 1966, starting with serial number S75000 and ending in S263000. This example is in the middle of the run at S139977. The grips are not original to the gun. When I bought it there was a very old set of ivory stocks; they are not for sale. Five screw, pinned barrel, and target sights make for a high quality revolver. Obviously the pistol has been carried a fair amount, however the bore is sharp as well as the timing and lockup. I don't think it has been shot very much, just carried. Bluing wear is generally consistent with holster wear. All together it is a great collectors piece to keep shooting.
