Pre Model 27 Smith and Wesson 357
Description: RARE NIB Smith and Wesson Pre Model 27, 5 Screw, 357 with 8 3/8 Barrel and Niclel Finish. . This is what i believe to be the least manufactured configuration of the Pre Model 27. Although the Pre model 27 8 3/8 is not uncommon with a blued finish i have not been able to even locate a picture of a nickel variation of this model on line. I am just now putting this up for sale but i have had it at many shows and the seasoned Smith collectors i have show it to had never seen one. A friend of mine said he had heard less than 100 were manufacture. That being said to come across one new in box is a real find. All numbers are matching, including grips. Comes in original box, numbered to the gun and includes a Factory letter coinfirming the configuration. I would be interested if anyone could give me further information on this.
