Smith and Wesson Model 27-2 5” Nickel Revolver

Description:
Rare 1978 Vintage Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 revolver. This was the pinnacle heyday of the Smith and Wesson N Frame revolvers and this 5" nickel plated beauty is a testament to it's excellence. Pinned and recessed cylinder with original two piece factory Cocobala wood grips, target trigger, sights, and checkered top strap.

Acquired two years ago from GA house ( Alligoods) and exhibits only very slight drag marks on cylinder, indicating either very slight or no actual firings. The bore is pristine. Has remained in humidity controlled safe, wiped and oiled annually.

This will indeed make a fine offering as a representative model from this period, for any enthusiast or collector.
Firearms like this do not come around that often, at this price point, and the demand for quality N Frame Smith & Wesson revolvers continue to grow.
