Smith & Wesson ~ Model 27-3 FBI 50th Commemorative ~ .357 Magnum

Description:
A unique, one-of-a-kind production from Smith & Wesson, this Model 27-3 was produced from the FBI 50th Commemorative line, gifted to top service agents in celebration of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's milestone. This particular piece was gifted to Agent Chin Ho Lee, who has an extensive service history within the agency and was pivotal in his efforts to the founding of the Office of Liaison & International Affairs, and in assisting the South Korean government with security preparations for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. He would later go on to serve as the CEO of Hyundai Motors after retiring from the FBI, and is now Vice President of Asian Operations for Revell Group International (RGI). Mr. Lee's former FBI badge number is personally etched onto the steel frame of the revolver, which also bears the Bureau's insignia, while his name and badge number are engraved on a brass plate affixed to the wooden presentation box. The revolver has been preserved beautifully and has never been fired, still maintaining its original bluing, wood grips, and markings. The presentation box has suffered a few scratch marks, however, the name plate is still untouched. The revolver has a 5" barrel with a weight of roughly 2 lbs, and a full-length 10". Included with the revolver is its original wood presentation box, and an information sheet further describing the Agent's background. Chambered in .357 Magnum. .357 Magnum
