Description:
The Smith & Wesson Highway Patrolman is classic N-frame revolver, the Highway Patrolman is blued, but it is not polished. This one is chambered in 357 Magnum and imported from Germany by Simpson LTD. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" and by the frame and barrel are an "Eagle / N" stamp. The left side of the frame in front of the cylinder is marked "Eagle / N" - "Munich" - Shield with a 67 stamped inside". The yoke cut is marked with the importer, serial number and model number "SIMPSON LTD G'BURG IL / S290504 / MOD. 28-2" and the yoke is marked with inspection marks. The left side of the frame at the trigger bow is marked with a 6 or b stamp inside of the circle. The right side of the barrel is marked ".357 / CTG." and "HIGHWAY / PATROLMAN". The right sideplate is marked with "S&W" trademark logo. The right side of the frame, below the cylinder, is marked with the four line "Marcas Registradas" address. The butt is marked with the serial "S29054". The front sight is a serrated ramped blade set on a serrated riser. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched leaf that is adjustable. The grips are two-piece checkered Goncalo Alves magna stocks with S&W medallions at their tops which leave the serrated backstrap and front strap exposed.
