Description: This is one of the most unbelievable packages we have ever had come through the shop. It's an outstanding pristine collector grade S&W model 29-5 "Magna Classic" 1 of 3000 revolver package. The 1 of 3000 is a bit of a misnomer because it is documented that they only made 1800 of these and their 629 counterparts. The provenance of this package is simply unreal. It has the original outer cardboard "Shipper" box with the factory label on it. It also has the traditional one piece box that the gun would have been shipped in with label and the original presentation case specifically fitting to the shape of this revovler. It comes with all the paperwork, the sealed tool kit, the extra interchangeable front sights, the case key (Not pictured), the Magna Classic certificate and the test target all serialized to the gun. Unlike most of the guns in the run, this one has the "Low Serial Number" designation on all of the labels because it is one of the 1st 100 made. The revolver itself is in 99%-99.5% condition. If it wasn't for the presence of a cylinder turn line, I'd say it was unfired. Cylinder front face looks new and there is no flame cutting. Any ultra fine signs of use probably left the factory that way. It is simply gorgeous! I am a type 01 FFL dealer.
