This is a pretty darn sweet 1956 S&W "Pre" model 29 with the 6.5" barrel. 3T's with .500 target hammer and serrated trigger. Both have really nice case coloring. For it's age, the gun is in super nice condition and has that old school deep bluing. Not much signs of use. There is a little mark on the barrel in front of the "44 magnum" roll mark and a rub mark on the bottom front of the trigger guard, both indicated in yellow. ZERO rust or pitting. Just the small signs of use. Action is smooth and bore is excellent. The barrel, cylinder and frame serial numbers all match. Comes in a VERY nice presentation case with all the tools and paperwork. These liners are known for getting destroyed over time. Brass hinges are snug and it latches secure. I was limited to 15 pics for the post but I do have additional ones covering every inch if this fine revolver. Great little time piece for the money!
