Very nice Model 29-2 with an easy to carry 4-inch barrel, bright polish nickel finish, target width trigger/hammer, and target sights. The "N"-prefix S/N indicates a YOM of 1968 or later. Th e Model 29 was made famous in movies, and real world usage. While the .44 Magnum has been eclipsed by other cartridges over the years, it is still one of the hardest-hitting, and accurate, loads on the market. This pistol, with its 4-inch barrel might be considered a little short for target and hunting, but would work just fine. As a personal defense for all kinds of pests, it would excel. .44 Magnum
