Smith & Wesson Model 36 No Dash - 38 S&W Special

Here is a nice early Smith & Wesson model 36 No Dash chambered for 38 Special. This revolver has been modified for concealed carry with a bobbed hammer for DAO usage and no snagging on clothes or holsters. You could easily convert it back to a SA/DA configuration by installing a standard J frame hammer. This revolver was made in 1969 or 1970 and has good timing and lockup. I have shot this revolver and it is suprisingly accurate. Nice classic backup gun. There is a set of initials and a date electropencilled on the backstrap. It reads "JAG 01/18/88" .
