Standard configuration 5-shot Smith & Wesson Model 36-1 nickel revolver with 3” barrel, serrated ramp front sight, groove rear sight, color-case-hardened trigger and hammer. “SMITH & WESSON” on left side of barrel while the S&W logo on left side of frame. “.38 S. & W. SPECIAL CTG.” on right of barrel with the usual S&W address/MADE IN USA on right frame. Inner frame marked “MOD-36-1", along with inner crane “72933 / D19”. Fitted with checkered wood grips having silver S&W medallions inlaid. Full SN on butt. Complete with original matching silver/blue shipping box that includes wax paper, literature, and cleaning rod/brush.
Condition:
Revolver is virtually new, with no sharp edge wear or thin spots, the cylinder ring, while apparent, does not break the finish. No cartridge head imprints on the recoil shield. Grips as new.
