S&W Model 48-2, w/4X Scope, .22 Mag, c.1978 Barrel Exc. Condition. SN: 28K1006  

Description:
This S&W revolver has been upgraded with a target hammer and trigger an action job and a Burris 4X Scope. The scope optics are clear with a fine cross hair. The original trigger, hammer and sight have been saved and are included. The original box and all paperwork are included as well. Obviously, the revolver with the scope mounted will not fit in the box. Three holes have been drilled in the top strap to mount the scope; I don’t know if the original sight will cover them.  
The revolver was built to shoot ground hogs and has been used very little; it remains in excellent condition. The cylinder locks up tight and it has a very smooth double action, and the single action is crisp and light. The finish is 99% with a very modest turn line, otherwise it looks new.
This is a fine revolver to hunt small critters or just for target plinking. It would be a great addition to your gun collection.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.
          C&R firearms, over 50 years old, can be shipped to a Type 03 Federal Firearms License address.
A signed valid license copy will be required for shipment to only the license address.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
