About Us: We are an “Old School” gun store with a vintage Western style. We do carry various modern pistols, revolvers and long guns. However, our specialty is vintage firearms including bolt action, lever action and semi automatic rifles. For example, we usually have at least two or three M-1 Garand rifles at any given moment. Other times we may have one or two Springfield 1903 rifles. Also in stock are a few dozen lever action rifles available in different calibers & barrel lengths. Lastly, we have a wide variety of Colt Single Action Army revolvers in different calibers and barrel lengths. (NOTE: we try & remove items from Guns International ASAP if they are sold through our retail location, but there may be a slight delay in doing so)
Smith & Wesson Model 48 .22Mag w/4” bbl.
Description: Here's another old school Smith & Wesson revolver we have up for sale. This time it's a Model 48 in .22 Magnum with a 4 inch barrel. Pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. (You don't see that on the newer revolvers! Some consider that to be the one of details of Smith & Wesson's old time quality) No box. Very good shape overall, however, two cosmetic imperfections. The first is some small cracks & chips missing in the wood grips next to the back strap. Otherwise, the wood grips are in good shape and exhibit a nice color. The other imperfection is a little bit of patina/freckling on one spot on the side of the cylinder. (Please remember, the Model 48 is somewhat difficult to find these days) Check out the pictures for more details. USPS money order is the preferred method of payment. We also accept major credit cards with a 4% surcharge. Please allow up to three business days for us to answer emails. Things have been quite hectic lately. Our regular business hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed on Sunday and Monday. Due to the current health crisis, we can only allow one customer into the store at a time and highly recommend you make an appointment before arriving.
