Smith & Wesson Model 51 (no dash) .22 Magnum. Made circa 1970, serial M12753 has a 3.5-inch barrel (pinned, integral serrated rib, serrated blade front sight), adjustable rear sight with serrated face, color case hammer (narrow, checkered spur), recessed cylinder checkered wood grips (serialed) and a color case trigger (narrow, serrated face). EXTRA CYLINDER: A .22 LR cylinder is included (serial 96854, unknown if fitted to the frame). No box or papers. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Trigger pulls are smooth and the cylinder rotates through the double action cycle without stuttering and locks up properly. Cylinder walls are smooth. Metal finish is approximately 95 percent, the majority of adjustment from thinning over the grip frame. Grips have a small stabilized hairline (underside of front left panel) and a few impressions along the bottom. The extra LR cylinder finish is approximately 90 percent.
