Very rare S&W revolver. Only 8 model 53's were manufactured in 1961 with 8 3/8 inch barrel and matching extra .22LR cylinder. This is a 4 screw revolver. S&W changed the model 53 in 1962 to a 3 screw frame. This S&W revolver should belong in an avid S&W collector's collection.
