S&W Model 57 Revolver S-Prefix 41 Magnum 1969 w/ Case

Description:
Serial #S319038, .41 Magnum, 8 3/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1969 revolver, made between the deletion of the diamond-center grip, and the introduction of the N-prefix. The metal retains 98-99% of the original blue finish with some trace silvering at the muzzle, and a mild turn-ring on the cylinder. The target trigger and hammer retain a commensurate amount of their original color case-hardening, while the Goncalo Alves grips are in excellent condition with hardly any wear, or flattening of the points. The revolver is housed in an original S&W wooden case with cleaning rod, bore brush, bore mop, and screwdriver. The interior lining has deteriorated over time, but the revolver still rates excellent condition. FFL or C&R
