Description:
This is a really interesting and MINT "AS NEW" 1989 Smith & Wesson 586-2 which was the first year for factory laser engraving. It's fully documented with the factory original box and matching label indicating a "Special" feature. Also has a factory label on the other end denoting the special laser engraving. I'm not sure how many were in this run but most of the ones I have seen are 586-3. This also has an interesting very round serial number of "1600". Not sure if that was the start of the run or what but I can tell you this gun is in unbelievable condition! Everything including the grips are mint.
