Serial #AUM5965, .357 Magnum, 6 inch full Lug barrel barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Smith & Wesson Model 586 Distinguished Combat Magnum revolver manufactured in 1986 which was returned to the factory in 1987 for the recall update and is marked with a "M" and includes the Lew Horton's repair order. In excellent condition the nickel finish retains virtually all, 96-98% of the original bright finish with scattered light surface marks from handling and use. The smooth .375" semi-target hammer and smooth trigger show much of the original vibrant case-colors. The checkered target Goncalo Alves stocks with S&W medallions and speedloader cutout rates about excellent with some light use marks. It comes in the original one piece folded cardboard box numbered to the gun with red "M" overstamp. FFL
