It has a non-fluted cylinder, serrated backstrap, beautiful S&W emblem wood grips, fixed ramp front sight with orange inset, adjustable white outline notch rear sight, and a checkered metal hammer. It is in excellent condition wood and metal, with only some barely noticeable handling marks to the right side of the grips. A lot of people say that the -4 version is one of the best and one of the hardest to find for sale. It was the last model with the hammer mounted firing pin and is factory drilled & tapped to mount optics. It was also the last version built before MIM (metal injection molding) was introduced.
