S&W Post-War K-22 Masterpiece Revolver (Pre-Model 17)

Description:
Serial #K266036, .22 LR, 6" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves at the muzzle. This is a pre-1955 revolver with five screw frame, and retains 85-90% of the original blue finish that has silvered slightly along some of the high edges and also has a light turn-ring on the cylinder. The muzzle area of the barrel has patches of minor surface oxidation and some pinprick pitting, and there are a few further small spots of freckling along the sides of the barrel rib and right side of the topstrap. The hammer and trigger retain most of the original color case-hardening, with some faint silvering along the edges. The checkered, diamond-center grips are in very good-fine shape, with some minor handling marks and a small area of flattening on the left panel next to the screw bolster. This is a very nice example of a pre-Model 17 S&W, and rates fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
