This is a beautiful 1953 S&W K-22 Masterpiece pre-model 17 5-screw with a 6-inch barrel in excellent condition.There is a little blue loss on the ejector rod, a tiny bit of muzzle wear, very nice rifling, clean cylinder, light cylinder turn line, nice grips, decent screw heads, original high polish finish, pinned barrel, recessed cylinder charge holes. There are no scratches, one small nick on the left edge of the top strap above the cylinder that is hard to see it is so small and one tiny scuff on the cylinder, see the pictures, no spotting, rust, pitting, or any real detractions. I rate it at 98+% condition. The gun has no slop anywhere, everything is tight and not too tight or too loose, clearances seem correct, lock up is correct. It appears to have not been fired very much. I have cleaned and oiled it thoroughly for shipping. This one is part of my collection and luckily I have another in similar condition. These high condition ones do not come along often. These are the premier pre-model 17s with the short action and narrow rib.
All numbers match. The factory gold box is in fair condition. Shipping is approximately $60.00 sent via Fed Ex to your choice of FFL, make sure you are able to receive it at your FFL and pass a background check.Will ship when checks clear the bank.
