Guns International #: 101716111
Seller's Inventory #: PR54861
Original pre-war Registered Magnum revolver with a 6.5"" barrel. This is an interesting gun, shipped in 1939 according to the factory letter, and then returned to the factory in 1945 according to the service mark on the inside of the grip frame. The gun letters with a gold bead front sight and a U-notch rear sight, but currently has a Patridge front sight and standard square notch rear. The butt has a star stamped next to the serial number, and ""1.45"" on the inside of the grip frame. The star stamping has not been blued over. We believe this gun was returned to the factory to have the sights replaced but was not refinished. Has about 96% original blue with a bit of muzzle and edge wear. Has the correct Magna grips but they're numbered to another gun. A very attractive Registered Magnum.
