"Smith & Wesson U.S. Army Model of 1899 .38 Special (PR51043)

"

Rare 1st model U.S. Army .38 military revolver. Only 1000 made. Has K.S.M. inspector marks on the frame and one grip, and J.T.T. cartouche dated 1901 on the other grip. Has about 80% original blue finish. The barrel is marked ""S&W 38 MIL"". The bore and action are excellent. The grips are very good with light wear. A rare and desirable U.S. military revolver in better than average condition.
