1939 Tucson PD Smith & Wesson 357 Non-Registered Magnum
Description:
Non-Registered Magnum shipped to the Tucson Police in December 1939 as a 5" blued model. It was returned to the factory in April 1954 to swap over to a post war 8 3/8" barrel with matching serial number and a reblue.
This NRM is in great mechanical shape with no endshake and beautiful bore and chambers. The finish shows honest use most likely on the competition circuit. There is some oil residue in the some of the pictures. All numbers match (including the barrel) except for the later production S&W service stocks.
Of note, this NRM has a post-war transitional hammer (cut for the safety bar but still retains the pre-war hammer block).
This will ship from an FFL to your FFL (C&R eligible) with insurance. Price includes shipping/insurance.
The Factory Letter and documents from the SWHF will come with the NRM.
