Description:
EXTREMELY RARE, HIGH CONDITION S&W TARGET .32-20  M-1905 4TH CHANGE, #130XXX, MADE DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION YEARS OF THE 1930s. These target .32-20 Hand-Ejector revolvers rarely turn up. This one is is excellent overall condition with only a touch of blue wear at each side of the muzzle and one small area of flaking to brown ahead of the trigger guard on the right side of the frame. Even the bottom of the trigger guard , ejector rod shaft and the back strap show all the blue. The front face of the cylinder retains nearly all the blue indicating that this one was rarely if ever fired. Tight action, bright bore, exc. case colors on the hammer and trigger. Exc. grips fit perfectly, matchiing numbers on the frame, cylinder and barrel (grips are unmarked on the inside, but fit so perfectly I am sure they are original). Prhaps a hint of age to the barrel blue, exc. screw heads and markings with the last patent date on the barrel of 1914. Barely a cylinder drag line. Factory adjustable target rear sight with blade/bead target front sight. Wonderful hand tuned action and trigger found on 1930s Depression era S&Ws.
