MODEL 1917 .45 ACP REVOLVER WITH 1937 DATED BRAZILIAN CREST ON THE RIGHT FRAME SIDE PLATE. This was part of a large order of these for the Brazilian government in the mid to late 1930s. Usually they are found in pretty rough shape. This one has matching numbers and still retains most of the blue with normal handling and very light dings/scratches etc usually found on these. Fine deep case color on the hammer and trigger. Lanyard ring intact. Exc. markings (tiny import stamp on the bottom of the barrel flat under the ejector rod and under the "MADE IN U.S.A. on the right side of the frame). Front sight has not been altered. Correct diamond checkered grips show wear and are slightly oversize at the butt. Extremely tight action and exc. bright bore.
