Pre-War Smith & Wesson 44 Hand Ejector Nickel Revolver Mfg 1923 Jigged Bone Stocks
Description: Serial #19687, .44 S&W Special, 6 ½ inch barrel with a very fine bore with strong rifling and some scattered light roughness. This is the Smith & Wesson 2nd Model 44 Hand Ejector manufactured in 1923. The barrel, frame and cylinder show about 65-70% of the original bright nickel finish with flaking throughout. The trigger and hammer both show trace amounts of the original case colors. Stocks are jigged bone and fit well in excellent condition. Mechanically it functions properly with tight lock up. It comes in a custom LH holster made in Mt. Gilead, NC. A very fine example of a scarce factory nickel 44 hand ejector, built after Smith started heat treating the cylinders. Will make a great collectible shooter! FFL or C&R Curio/Relic: Yes Price: $1,495.00 Contact Seller |
