Description:
Desirable Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector revolver, WWI era, with British proofs , chambered in .455. This is the second iteration of the Triple Lock revolver with the standard prewar S&W blue finish. 6.5’’ barrel with half moon front sight, two line address, and channel rear sight. S&W logo on sideplate. Frame and crane with matching assembly number “9320”. Usual British proof appearing on left side of forward frame and tang. Serial number on butt. Fitted with the checkered S&W logo grips, neither one numbered, and rotatable case hardened lanyard ring.
Condition:
VG+ bright original blue with scattered small nicks, scratches and oxidative flecking. Crisp grips, oil darkened, with a scattering of superficial handling marks. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics with each cylinder locking into place against light resistance.
