WW2 S&W Model K-200 British Service Revolver
Serial #737984, .38 S&W, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, barrel (renumbered to match), cylinder, yoke, and extractor, with the metal retaining about 75-80% of the original blue finish, with numerous small scratches and handling marks from hard carry exposing the underlying bright metal along the entire exposed surface. Post-war Birmingham commercial proofs are present throughout. Much of the original color case-hardening remains on the hammer and trigger. The checkered walnut, diamond-center grips are correct, but numbered to a different gun on the interior, and are in very good shape, with moderate wear and flattening of the points, as well as some old chips missing from around the butt. The lock-up is tight, and the action is fully functional. This is a well-used S&W British Service, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
