1974 Smith & Wesson model 48-2 LNIB Curio Relic .22 WMR 8 3/8" K-22 MRF MasterPiece
Description: 1974 Smith & Wesson model 48-2 (K-22 MRF masterpiece). Chambered in .22 WMR (magnum) and features a rare 8 3/8" barrel. The front sight is a Patridge and the rear is a micrometer adjustable. Hi Polish Blue Finish is exceptional. Smith Logo Checkered Walnut Stocks are excellent condition and numbered to the gun. The barrel is pinned and the cylinders are recessed. A trait long since forgone by S&W. Color cased target trigger and target hammer. Comes as shown with the factory matching two-piece Blue Box, new old stock tools and paperwork. Including the original purchase hang tag and box sticker from the old "Montgomery Ward" Dept Store. It cost $158.00 back in 1974. Bluing rates at 98% with just a touch of muzzle wear from being in a holster at some point I imagine?
