Wow what a beauty! SN# 35xxx. So early 1930s I believe? The .38/44 Heavy Duty is an N-frame revolver chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, but built on the heavier .44 Special frame to handle higher pressure loads. This heavy duty does have some bluing wear on the muzzle. I would put bluing conservatively at 85%. The engraving is still strong and beautiful! Its covered from head to toe in a complete floral pattern engraving. It comes with custom Keith Brown Wood grips. Keith brown retired about 5 years ago and these grips were made in December of 2009. KB grips are nearly impossible to find and the value alone has shot up! Comes with a custom built wood show case, the case was built by the previous owner and long time friend to our store. He took pride in making all of his cases special and has recently passed away. This Heavy Duty was one of this pride and joys! It has a 5" barrel with a mirror clean bore. It comes with the ammo displayed as well. Ammo will be shipped separately. Make sure and have a good look at the pictures, they show color and condition.
