Excellent example of a first series Smith & Wesson Model 686. Firearm is used in very good condition, shows signs of being carried and some carbon around the cylinder gap but is in otherwise very good condition condition.
The Smith & Wesson Model 686, is a six shot double action/single action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. It will fire .38 Special and .38 Special +P cartridges. The Model 686 is based on S & W's "L" revolver frame. During the 1980s, Smith & Wesson developed its L-Frame line of .357 Magnums.
This model features the 4" barrel with the full length under-lug, also has adjustable tritium target sights (no longer glow) and comes with vintage Pachmayr "Presentation" grips.
