A New Departure 5th Model, excellent throughout with 98% of the original blue.
Shows a clean bright bore with sharp lands and grooves and no frosting or oxidation. Cylinder chambers are all bright and no fouling upon the cylinder face. Timing is correct, action is tight as is the top-break action.
The Mother-of-pearl grips are period and pristine with a beautiful clean, deep luster. There are no cracks nor any damage.
A wonderful example of the very last year for production of the Smith & Wesson New Departure in .38 S&W. Appears new and unfired with light handling marks. A fine collectible.
