S&W Smith & Wesson Model 1917 COMMERCIAL 45 Super Nice! CA OK!

Description:
Stunning condition 5-1/2" model 1917 45 Auto Rim revolver.
This is a Commercial revolver, probably one of the last few made before the war.
Excellent bore, rifling, chambers.
Gorgeous checkered grips.
Mechanically fine inside and out.
This HAS been shot, but not enough to matter.
Little bit of a turn ring starting on the cylinder, clean recoil shield.
Excellent Satin black finish, thinning slightly on some sharp edges, front of the crane, ejector rod, lanyard loop.
Hammer and trigger retain excellent case colors.
Smooth action, great lock up.
We test fired with some low pressure 45acp...you DO want this gun.
Near perfect screw slots.
Matching # crane, cylinder, extractor.
Ser# 1647xx made 1942, best as we can tell.
