Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard 38 Double-Action Revolver. With a pinned front sight and a grooved top strap sights. The Bodyguard 38, chambered in .38 Special, employs an aluminum cylinder frame with an integrated barrel/ejector rod shroud; a stainless steel barrel insert fits inside of the barrel shroud. The 5-shot, +P rated cylinder is made of PVD-coated stainless steel. To further reduce weight, the lower frame assembly, consisting of the grip frame and trigger guard, is made of polymer. A concealed hammer prevents the gun from snagging while being drawn from a holster, pocket, or purse. The ambidextrous cylinder release lever on the upper grip frame allows quick engagement with either hand.
