Smith & Wesson Model 19 MATCHED PAIR WVSP & WVDNR BOTH #32
Description: For sale today we are offering up an absolutely outstanding S&W Model 19 matched pair! This is a West Virginia State Police Model 19-4 full target 60th anniversary of WVSP #32 revolver matched with a West Virginia Department of Natural Resources model 19-5 #32 revolver 1 of 133 made. I do not think these revolvers were matched at the factory due to the differences in dash and years of production, however I do believe that they were UNBELIEVABLY matched as a pair out in the wild and sourced individually and kept together. Not any average Joe had access to the WVSP & WVDNR revolvers. You either had to be retired from one of the organizations or a current high ranking member of one of the organizations to even have been offered one of these revolvers when they were released. Smith & Wesson offered these to the WVSP & WVDNR because of the long, long history of both organizations using exclusively S&W firearms for service. To my knowledge, these were not done for many if any other states whatsoever. If I had to guess, the man who sourced both of these revolvers worked for both the WVSP & WVDNR at some point in his career and some how, some way, matched these revolvers that are both #32 together. They were matched together, so they will stay together. Comes as shown both guns are in excellent ++ condition and the display case is included as well.
