Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th Change RARE 2” Barrel Blued All Matching 99%
Description:
Built in 1936 as one of less than 250 2” barreled M&P revolvers ever made prior to WWII, this fabulous example remains in extraordinary all-original condition. As part of an engineering order by DB Wesson, 250 2” barrels were made, though not all were assembled into finished revolvers until after WWII. Knowledgeable collectors are aware of the rarity of pre war examples and their high rate of usage making attrition a real problem for those seeking top shelf specimens. The gun is all original, with the numbers matching 2” barrel and original numbers matching black rubber service grips. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. The original bright polish blue finish rates 99% showing only the faintest of collector type handling evidence and aging. Overall among the finest examples of the model that any collector could ever hope to own. No upgrade will be possible!
