Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 1917, chambered in .45 acp manufactured in 1937-38 under a Brazilian contract. This revolver shows no visible import mark. It features a 5-1/2” pinned barrel, 5 screw frame, small S&W trade mark, Brazilian crest on opposite side, 6 shot fluted cylinder, removed lanyard ring, standard checkered spur hammer, serrated trigger and newer checkered rubber grips. This 1917 retains very little of its original finish but times up nice and has a good bore.
