Smith & Wesson Model of 1905 "VICTORY" w/ Factory Letter

.38/200 S&W Model of 1905 "Victory" Model. Includes period correct canvas holster, original lanyard and factory letter from the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation.

The letter states this revolver was shipped out on June 10th, 1942 to Springfield Massachusetts for Lend Lease Distribution. The importer, "VEGA SAC" reportedly imported many Victory models back into the states from Australia.

Metal finish on the gun is 80% + with light marks and dings across the gun, and some oxidation on the gun, mainly on the top strap. Wood is 60% + with surface wear but no cracks. Right stock panel has an indentation and a chip. Bore is a strong 90%.
