Smith & Wesson No 1 3rd Model .22 Short (last one manufactured?)
Description:
According to all the reference books the last of these to be manufactured was serial number 131163, but this fine example is serial number 132238. I would naturally assume there are more than what they claim. But possibly this is the last one manufactured or at least the highest serial number known to date. And, it has most all the original factory nickel on the barrel and frame, with some flaking present on the cylinder and believe it or not a shootable bore and with acceptable timing, perfect rosewood grips - overall in good working order. And no cracks on the hinge.
