A factory letter accompanies this outstanding Pre Model 27 detailing its original shipment on November 14, 1950 to the Kelley Hardware Thomson Company in Duluth, Minnesota. The gun is equipped with a 3 1/2" barrel, original bright blue finish and the numbers matching checkered walnut sharp shoulder diamond magna grips. A beautiful revolver that is complete in a correct gold picture box with the NOX Rust vapor paper, unused cleaning tools and Helpful Hints brochure.
The gun remains in fabulous condition from end to end and retains 99% of the original bright blue finish which shows only the faintest of collector type handling evidence. Note the early guns have a much higher level of polish and the gun is really outstanding in hand, note the proud pins on the front sight! The original checkered walnut grips grips are every bit as crisp and mint as the gun itself. Overall top-shelf 1950 mfd. .357 Magnum worthy of a special place in any collection!
