Description:
A fine double action revolver made in Spain in the 1920's through the 1940's by COJANGUREN Y MARGAIDE, and sold through a vendor, with an over stamp marking of: MADE BY BRISTEG BROS. These guns were solid copies of S&W and Colt and retained many of the same features. This fine revolver has a 5 3/4" pinned barrel with an excellent clean bore. The action is very strong and this gun indexes good and locks up solid as a rock. The cylinder has a drag line similar to the S&W model 10 military and police revolver. The exterior finish has original blue, mixed with grey. And the checkered Spanish buffalo horn pressed grips are clean and have a few holes from insect damage.. Has a swing our cylinder and works good on S.A and D.A. Built for standard load .38 spec and not +P. This gun was made for export so it won't have Spanish proof marks and many were used in the Spanish revolution and Europe in WWII.
