Vintage Smith & Wesson Model 586 Distinguished Combat Magnum 6" .357 Magnum
Beautiful example of a first series Smith & Wesson Model 586. Firearm is used but was very well taken care of it, does not appear to have ever even been carried. Very little carbon around cylinder gap and bore is in excellent condition. Overall this is a spectacular condition firearm. The Smith & Wesson Model 586, is a six shot double action/single action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. It will fire .38 Special and .38 Special +P cartridges. The Model 586 is based on S & W's "L" revolver frame. During the 1980s, Smith & Wesson developed its L-Frame line of .357 Magnums. This model features the 6" barrel with the full length under-lug, also has adjustable target sights and the original "Zebrawood" grips. This is an extremely well made gun, cylinder feels like it floats on ball bearings and the single and double action pull is smooth and crisp. Stamp under the grips (as shown in the picture) dates this firearms manufacture date to December 16th 19XX, the ink has run and it's hard to determine the date. Firearms serial number is shown in pictures if you wish to look it up. Pictures are of the actual firearm you will receive. Shipping to lower 48 only, Shipping $30.00 KNOW YOUR LOCAL AND STATE LAWS!!
