Starr Arms MINT 1858 revolver
Description: Starr Arms Co. Model 1858 Army. Cal .44 percussion. 6" barrel with a mint bore. Manufactured 1858- 1860by Starr Arms Co. New York City. This gun made for the Civil War has remained UNUSED. Shows no signs of ever having been fired, neither inside or the end of the cylinder and has as new original nipples. Walnut grips have perfect cartouches on both sides. The hammer and lever retain nearly all of the original case colors. Matching numbers on Frame, Cylinder and barrel. Balance of revolver is factory high polish mirror Royal blue, retaining approximately 85% with the balance simply flaked from age. Mint bore with a perfect action. Razor sharp legends.
