The Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull with an 8.5-inch barrel is a robust, large-frame double-action revolver meant for hunting big game or personal protection in wild regions inhabited by bear or other large predators. To tame recoil from magnum cartridges, the Raging Bull comes with a factory ported barrel and a non-slip rubber grip with a cushioned insert. A dual lockup cylinder and a massive mainframe withstands years of pounding by heavy loads. Fully adjustable sights allow you to dial in custom loads with precision accuracy. The Raging Bull Double-Action Revolver utilizes a transfer bar mechanism that prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled fully to the rear. The original Raging Bull line was discontinued in 2019, with its replacement, the Raging Hunter line, launched that same year.
