This Taurus Model 82 stainless steel DA/SA revolver in .38 S&W Special is in fair to good condition. This Model 82 was produced when they were using Smith & Wesson machinery and design. The appearance to Smith & Wesson revolvers is obvious, as Taurus was owned by Smith & Wesson. The Taurus line added an economy side that Smith & Wesson looking for. The stainless steel barrel, cylinder and frame are good, but do show signs of careless handling, from the finish and scratches. The stainless steel 4" barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The smooth curved trigger is S&W smooth and crisp. The medium hardwood hand grips are fair, and could use refinishing. This Taurus Model 82 revolver does not come with a box or any other accessories. .38 S&W Special
