BRITISH TRANTER 1868 DOUBLE ACTION .450 CF CAL. ARMY REVOLVER. All original and matching and one of the first successful large bore center fire double action revolvers. 6 shot with 5” octagon barrel stamped “E.M. REILLY & CO. LONDON”. Frame stamped “TRANTER’S PATENT”. Very good overall with original grey patina on metal. Original walnut grips in good condition with an old very small hairline at the butt on the left side. Excellent working order and good bore with well defined rifling.
