SALE PENDING
Description: General George S. Patton Commemorative Edition Single Action Army Revolver produced by Uberti for the American Historical Foundation in Richmond, VA. This limited edition piece is silver-plated and factory-engraved, reflecting the design of General Patton's renowned sidearm. There are faux ivory grips, one is discolored, the bore is mint. This commemorative revolver pays tribute to General George S. Patton, Jr., one of America's most distinguished military leaders. Patton's favored sidearm was a .45 caliber Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver, which he acquired in 1916 during his service with General Pershing. The Original Revolver was silver-plated, extensively engraved by Colt’s chief engraver, Cuno Helfricht, and fitted with ivory grips carved with Patton's initials, "GSP." Patton notably used this revolver in a shootout on May 14, 1916, against Julio Cárdenas, Pancho Villa’s bodyguard, demonstrating his prowess and bravery. Today, Patton's original revolver is displayed at the General Patton Museum in Fort Knox, Kentucky. This collector's piece is a faithful homage to Patton's iconic sidearm, embodying the historical significance and valor associated with the General. This subscription was limited to 2500 pieces.
