Colt No. 5 "TEXAS" Paterson Percussion Revolver in .36 Caliber made by Uberti about 25 years ago and now discontinued. This one was imported by Cimarron which was an extension of Western Arms out of Santa Fe, NM. Both of these firms always bought the highest quality level Uberti had to offer. Other than being cocked a few times, it is virtually brand new in the box with manual and paperwork. This one has the special order charcoal blued finish to simulate the original type blue from the 19th century. It is much more fragile than the modern blue/black bluing used on most firearms so these must be handled with care unless you're going for that worn-in look. The grips are tiger striped walnut and look fantastic on this gun. I love how the reddish orange grip finish contrasts with the charcoal blue. Backstrap, cylinder plate, and hammer are case color hardened. These Patersons have become quite sought after in recent years and an old gunsmith friend of mine who has worked on lots of original Patersons once told me that these Ubertis were quite close to the original. Antique, Percussion Reproduction. Buyer Must be 21 years of age and a law-abiding US Citizen. No FFL Required under Federal Law however some states and cities do not classify these antique.
