This A. Uberti is a Cimerron imported, model 1872, in very good to excellent condition. This revolver shows a minor blemish on the rear sight post, however it is common as the notch for the rear sight is often burred. The blueing on the barrel is dark it does show some minor fading on the high ridges, consistent with age. The rifling is sharp, the single action has a crisp response, and the cylinder is properly timed. The engravings on the cylinder are sharp and clear.
This model is the predecessor to the famous single action Army \"Peacemaker\", and marks the end of \"Open Top\" revolvers.
